Over two decades as a writer, I interviewed hundreds of people, many of whom had experienced trauma and loss. Giving their stories a voice was deeply meaningful. Today, as a therapist, I have the privilege of hearing people’s stories in a new way—helping them heal old wounds, discover their strengths, and build a stronger sense of self. Together, we create new chapters in their lives, empowering them to tell their own stories with confidence and compassion.
I graduated with honors from Yeshiva University Wurzweiler School of Social Work as part of the Sara Schenirer cohort. During my internship at Lexington Center for Recovery, I provided individual therapy and co-facilitated groups for people struggling with alcohol, drug, and gambling addictions. From May 2022 through early 2026, I worked with adults and couples at Achieve Behavioral Health. I currently maintain a private practice in Monsey, New York, while also continuing to facilitate a weekly group at Achieve supporting clinicians who are new to couples work. I am drawn to theories and modalities that support a compassionate, humanistic approach and have trained in Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Interventions, and the treatment of complex trauma and dissociation. When appropriate, I also draw on behavioral approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to help clients achieve their therapeutic goals.
I use a humanistic, person-centered approach, guided by my belief in the inherent value and potential of every individual. I work with couples, adult women, and groups, helping clients navigate complex trauma, attachment struggles, dissociation, anxiety, and other life challenges. I integrate evidence-based approaches to support clients in developing new skills, strengthening their sense of self, and achieving their therapeutic goals.
