I am the author of three biographies, Tell the World, Loyal Soldier, and My Life on Wheels, and one novel, Blueprints. I also wrote several private family memoirs and Rabbi S. Binyomin Ginsberg’s series for educators, Today You Will Learn…, and edited the manuscripts of Struggle to the Summit and Silent Childhood. My last book, Out of the Box, was published in 2018 and combines my love for writing and my passion for personal growth.
A most meaningful part of my writing career has been working for Links, an organization that supports teens and children who lost a parent. I interviewed teens, staff members, and others to write their stories of loss and courage and provide inspiration and guidance to readers of the children’s, teens’, and alumni magazines.
In recent years, I put aside most of my writing projects to focus on my work and development as a mental health professional. I am fortunate to have trained with leaders in the field and to participate in weekly group and individual supervisions with skilled supervisors and colleagues. Most of all, I am grateful for the opportunity to sit with people, hear their stories, and help them believe in and create a better future for themselves.
